Photographic Exhibition


Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation (SRDC) with Sh. Ranjan Kumar Singh, an eminent photographer is organizing a photographic exhibition from 24th-26th January 2011 at Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
The Exhibition will showcase the story of Delhi from Prithvi Raj Chauhan to the British Imperial Era

Exhibition will also include a Painting/Poster Competition for children in two categories:

Category 1 : Class 5th to 7th

Category 2 : Class 8th to 10th on 24th January 2011.

These paintings will be displayed during the entire exhibition and Merit certificates will be given to award winning paintings by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi on the same day. In addition to this, certificates will be given to all the students for their active participation.
Schools are invited to send their teachers and students to visit the exhibition. The interested students can get registered at the venue for the painting competition.

Registration for painting competition – children from class V to VII and VIII to X.

10:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Period for Painting competition.

12:00 Noon Display of paintings and evaluation by judges
01:00 PM Welcome of Hon'ble C.M. by presentation of bouquet
01:05 PM Welcome Song by School Children
01:15 PM Inauguration of Photo Exhibition by Hon'ble C.M., Delhi
01:20 PM Release of Balloons
01:25 PM Visit to Photo Exhibition
1:35 PM Presentation of merit certificate to the award winning paintings by Hon'ble CM
1:40 PM Vote of Thanks
Exhibition will remain open from 25 - 26 January, 2011 (0900 his to 1700 hrs)
